Before working with Vanessa I was unsure of how to achieve an optimal balance between eating healthier foods and still enjoying some of my favorite foods.Working with Vanessa has helped me understand that being healthy comes in all forms.


When I look back at the moment I made the decision to do this, I feel that it was the best thing I have done for myself in a very long time. As a young person, you tend to take your health, physical abilities and the like for granted. However, Vanessa has encouraged me to adapt better lifestyle habits earlier on because as I get older my body can still have a certain level of efficiency to help fight off illnesses, maintain a healthy weight and endure stress better.


After two sessions, I could already see improvements in the life choices I was making. When I went to the grocery store, I took care to read the labels more closely. I have an expanded taste now as Vanessa has introduced me to new foods and new ways to cook foods that I already like. Changing my eating habits had a knock-on effect to other life areas of my life, for example choosing products that are better for the environment and thinking more about long-term financial goals.

I highly recommend this program to people who not only want to eat healthier and are unsure how to do so but also if you want to make better lifestyle choices on the whole.
Achieving optimal wellness is much more than eating well; it is the sustained effort of being a conscious decision maker in every aspect of your life with the goal of being happier. My road to weight loss has been a journey that started in 2011. I had just graduated from University and felt like I was on top of the world. But looking in the mirror I didn't feel confident in the woman that I saw. I had gained so much weight from bad eating habits and staying up late studying. That summer I started exercising and trying to eat better. I got some weight off but it was still hard. I stayed committed to exercising and trying to watch what I ate, but I still was not able to reach my ultimate goal.


This year in 2014 I really became determined to lose the weight and become more committed to eating right. I'm so thankful for Vanessa's inspiration to help me along this journey. She has taught me so much about eating right and nutrition. I can honestly can say that while working with her for the last 4 months I have lost more weight than I have in the past 2 years by myself. Her coaching has given me the ability to gain confidence to know that I can reach my goals in anything in life. Before working with Vanessa I would say that I have definitely been misinformed about healthy dietary options and clean eating habits. Through our weekly sessions I have become increasingly conscious of my eating habits I.e identifying unhealthy foods and replacing them with positive substitutes.
