Hello there. central park I’m Vanessa and I’ve been in your shoes if you’ve struggled with your weight.  I tried all sorts of weight loss pills and shakes, counting calories, skipping meals, new diet trends and buying the latest TV gadgets to lose weight.  I exercised, thought I ate healthy – a few veggies here and there and welch’s fruit snacks instead of skittles. Man this resistance to weight loss was frustrating and all the confusing nutrition and diet advice in the magazines wasn’t making it any clearer.  Working long hours, drinking coffee to stay energized and eating out at different restaurants 70% of the time didn’t help either.

 

It wasn’t until I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition that my perspective and my relationship with food changed.  I learned the healing power of eating whole foods and eliminating the crap and sustaining this healthy change for life.  I finally started to slim down and lose weight!  What a relief!

 

I became a health coach and I learned how to coach others who want to lose weight the healthy way, without dieting, deprivation or calorie counting.  Health Coaches are knowledgeable advisors who provide ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness. As your Health Coach, I will listen carefully and help you to navigate the world of contradictory nutrition advice to determine what changes are necessary for you.
